720 layer Damascus Gyuto

This blade is forged from 720 layers of high carbon steel. The high layer count in the steel coupled with the polishing and etching process creates a shimmering effect known as chatoyance along the blade. This effect is mirrored by rippled grain in the Hawaiin Koa handle.
